Beg shell – ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc in same space.
Shell – 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc
Picot – ch 3, slip stitch in top of dc.
Doily
Ch 6, join with sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 15 dc in ring; sl st to top of beg ch 3. (16 dc total)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same st as joining, work 2dc in each dc around; join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. (32 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 5, sk next 3dc, sc in next dc; rep from * around, ch 2, tr in beg sc to form last loop.
Rnd 4: ch 6, dc in same loop, *(dc, ch 3, dc) in next sc, ** (dc, ch 3, dc) in 3rd st of ch-5 loop, * repeat around ending last repeat at **. Join in 3rd ch of beg ch-6 (16 ch-3 loops)
Rnd 5: ch 6, dc in same st, * skip next dc, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next dc, * around, join in 3rd ch of ch-6 (16 ch-3 loops)
Rnd 6: Repeat Rnd 5 – doily may cup slightly but will straighten out later.
